This week we have started to learn about time. We have learnt some cool stuff so far like:
"If you don't know the time you'll be late for everything" Izzy.
"The stars aren't in the same place every day" Harris.
"The moon changes different shapes every night" Lucy.
"There are 12 months of the year" Michala.
"At 10.30 it'd morning tea time" Sophie.
"At 12.30 it's lunch time" Jess.
"If it's 3 o'clock it's home time" Oliver.
"At 9 o'clock school starts" Saffron.
"There are 24 hours in a day" Ella.
"There are 60 minutes in an hour" Ashya.
"There are 60 seconds in a minute" Harris.
"There are 7 days in a week" Megan.
"There are 4 season in a year" Jess.
"There are 365 days in a year" Oliver.
We still have lots to learn about time and are looking forwards to it!
Yesterday we had netball skills again, it was lots of fun. We played lots of different games, we will play some of these again in class time.
Also yesterday we watched the school gymnastics team practice. A few of our sisters are going to the stadium today to compete, we wish them luck!
Next week we are off to the stadium to learn about fundamental skills. We will also be swimming and having lots and lots of fun! We are so super excited about going! We need to remember to bring our togs, drink, lots of lunch, running shoes, warm school jumper and everything MUST be named!
Hi room 8 - I'm surprised at how much you already know about time! One really important skill for you to learn as you grow up is how to manage time efficiently. I'll be interested to hear how your learning about time goes this week. Go "hard out"!
